Year 5 Science Week

This week was Science week and Y5 did two experiments on ‘Colour in the natural environment’ and ‘Wind speed and direction’.

We used bubbles to find the wind direction. We followed the bubbles and used a compass to find the average wind direction. Then we timed how long the bubbles took to travel ten metres and used this to work out the speed of the wind.

Unfortunately, due to problems with the blog I am unable to upload pictures at the moment, please visit the Birch Class blog to see pictures of Science week.
