The weather was kind today and we finally got to celebrate the school’s 20th birthday in Hill Brow Road. We began by having a whole school photo taken – no easy feat when you consider the number of children and staff involved.
This was then followed by a walk to the previous school (the Triangle Centre) where each child was given a red balloon with a label attached.
We then walked along Hill Brow Road and up to the school field, where we sang ‘Happy Birthday’.
Finally, we let our balloons go…
Afterwards we returned to class to have a slice of yummy birthday cake!
A great afternoon was had by all and thank you to Mrs Frost who was able to accompany us. Don’t forget – if you are lucky enough to find a balloon to let the school know using the details on the tag.
Looks like it was a fun birthday afternoon. Sorry I couldn’t stay to help out! Sarah
