Our French Fashion show was a great success and all the children took part, remembering their lines really well. Thank you to all the parents and families that attended and helped make the show a big success. Some children find it really hard to get up in front of an audience – let alone speak in French! Attached is a powerpoint with all the pictures –  I am sure you will agree that they did a fantastic job.

We also had Hannah S and Naomi competing on behalf of the school in a swimming gala at Waterlooville on Friday morning. The girls took part in a relay race and came 3rd out of 22 competing schools. They missed out on the silver medal by 100ths of a second. A great achievement nonetheless.

On Thursday the school celebrated World Book Day by dressing up as book characters – as you can see from the pictures there were many different characters represented.

It was good to see so many children taking part in this celebration of reading which continued into the afternoon where we shared our books with Class SH. Again I have attached a powerpoint of the photos.

We have continued with narrative writing in Literacy and the children have written some super stories. As they get typed up I will include them on the blog.
