What a hectic few weeks we have had in class.
Enterprise Fortnight was a great success and the children took a lot of orders at the Trade Fair – consequently we were kept busy fulfilling all the orders in the third week.
Class MG raised £450 at the Christmas Market and everyone should be really proud of their efforts. We also took an additional £40 on sales after the event. So a very big WELL DONE to all. Overall the profit made was £1050 which will go towards the solar panels.
The Christmas performance was a great success – it was just a shame that only 43 non cast members from the upper school turned out for the actual performance on Tuesday evening. However, the singing was really good and the children behaved wonderfully.
The school has now raised £3990 towards our solar panels – a great amount in just a term!
Our class party was on Thursday and the children enjoyed a range of games, both in the class and in the hall, and everyone was a winner! Plenty of food was on hand to satisfy their appetites and we even had enough left over for a snack when we returned from church on Friday.
The carol concert was well attended and our readers, Tom and Anna, spoke really clearly.
Of course we still had time for work in class and the children completed their Greek Newspapers. I have attached some for you to look at.
All that remains is for me to wish you all a very Happy Christmas and a Happy New Year.
