Rural Life Centre Trip 22nd March 2013

With the start of revision this week, it has been a period of deep concentration during Literacy and Numeracy so it was great to end the week with a trip to the Rural Life Centre.
The children thoroughly enjoyed the activities: experiencing a wartime school, a WW2 house, working with the Home Guard, finding our about the displaced Polish Army and many other activities.
I was amazed at the range of experiences available at the museum and would recommend it to families for a great day out!
Special thanks go out to Mrs Henderson, Mrs Wright, Mrs Neasom and Mr Gilbertson for their help on the day – without parental help trips like these can’t go ahead.
