Bonjour toute le monde!

This week we held our French Fashion Show and it was a great success. The children dressed up in their world war 2 fashions, posed and paraded down the catwalk and then told the audience what they were wearing in French, I am so proud of all of them for rising to the challenge. Well done!

Another opportunity for dressing up came on World Book Day. Armed with our favourite books, children and staff dressed up in all manner of World War II costumes and the result was brilliant. From army officers, to land girls, to housewives and even Churchill himself. In the afternoon we shared our favourite books with the children in year BG which was really successful.

Our houses have all been fired in the kiln and we have attempted colouring some which are now in the kiln for the second time. We look forward to presenting them in our exhibition on Thursday, along with other work we have completed during this topic, and look forward to seeing you there.
