Class CH has just completed a very busy week. On Tuesday we visited Winchester, as we are studying the Anglo-Saxons. The children took part in three activities-a workshop involving the illumination of letters and the making of badges; a tour of the cathedral and grounds; a visit to the city museum where, amongst other things, pupils dressed up in Anglo-Saxon costumes and investigated artefacts from the period. This was a very interesting and enjoyable trip. My thanks to those parents who helped out and to the pupils for their excellent behaviour.
On Friday we presented a French Fashion Show. Despite having limited rehearsal time this week, everybody did very well and bravely described their outfits in fluent french!
